Community Spirit in Sutton-on-Sea

Fund raising for local charities and good causes within the community.

A small group of friends from Sutton on sea and Sandilands joined together in 2011 and organised an event to celebrate the Royal wedding under the Sutton on sea Colonnade raising almost £1100 from this event. The proceeds were split between the Sutton on sea First Responders and the Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea Tourism Forum.

More recent events we have raised money at the Bathing Beauties Beach Hut Festival thanks to the Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea Tourism Forum for inviting us to play a small part in a very successful event.

The Sutton on Sea Christmas Fayre was a great success, we worked closely with the Fossils and the Rotary Club of Alford & Mablethorpe and all the proceeds from all three organisations will be donated to the Sutton on Sea First Responders.

We are a group of only 10 or so and welcome anyone to our meetings held at the Grange & Links Hotel Sandilands. We are always looking for new members, volunteers and new ideas.
