When loyal Sutton on Sea and Trusthorpe Ladies Lifeboat Guild supporter Mrs Eveline Holmes decided to stage a fund raising event she pulled out all the stops. Months of planning and hard work resulted in a grand 'Summer Fayre' held at the Meridale Community Centre Sutton on Sea with all proceeds shared equally between the Lifeboat Guild and the Meridale Centre. The Fayre raised a total of £1356 with the Guild receiving £678.
