The Sutton on Sea website was launched by Keith Butters of Bowhunter Websites in 2001 with the co-operation of the Town Council and Tourism Forum to promote Sutton, Sandilands and Trusthorpe as a place to live, shop, visit and stay.
Thank you to all who have supported the Sutton on Sea website project which was set up in conjunction with the Mablethorpe website project to serve the community and launched in 2001. We appreciate the encouragement given by the Town Council of Mablethorpe & Sutton on Sea and Tony Cumberworth, the Town Clerk at the time; also, the Tourism Forum and Michael Kheng who was the chairman in 2001.
We thank all the businesses and individuals that made the financing of the project possible.
We particularly thank Jane North (Bennetts Butchers), Rob Watson (Watsons Hardware), John Conyers (Greenfield Caravan Park), David Smith (Bacchus Hotel), Chris & Wendy Meaker (Olcote Farm Caravan Site), Michael Wellby (Lincolnshire Advertiser), David Brailsford (Springs Holiday Estates), Colin & Helen Matthews (Poplar Farm) and the late Bud Shields.
In addition, we were pleased to contribute to the Sutton and Trusthorpe Carnival with photography and a dedicated page.
We are so pleased that Chris Drew of MGC Websites Ltd is carrying on developing the website which promotes the image and features of Sutton on Sea to the whole world.Keith and Janet Butters (founders of Bowhunter Websites and SuttonOnSea.info)
Letter of Recommendation
We thank the Town Council for support the creation of suttononsea.info back in 2001.

Built To Last
Businesses pay a modest fee for their own page which effectively sponsors the rest of the sites content from free pages for groups, and clubs to the publicising of events and writing of articles etc. For their money each business receives a professionally built web page on the area’s leading website exposing them to tens of thousands of website visitors every year.
This business model has kept the site viable as dozens of copy-cat sites have come and gone.
